Yu is a Japanese Kana. It can be written in hiragana or Katakana.
Hiragana: ゆ This can be remembered as “You caught a fish”, as it looks like a fish.
Katakana: ユ This can be remembered by “You stand on the left” as it looks like an arrow pointing left.
Yu can also change the sound of kana on the い (I) line.
ひ び き (Hi Bi and Ki) Plus ゆ (yu)
Makes ひゅ びゅ きゅ (Hyu, Byu and Kyu).
